Suggested Mail Date Information
It is best to mail your defense packet to the courthouse by the suggested mail date for timely delivery. Your defense packet must be received by the due date. If you have taken action with the court or obtained a new due date please adhere to that date.You may also deliver your defense packet in person to the courthouse directly. If you deliver your defense packet in person make sure to obtain a receipt for proof of delivery.

If possible to maximize your probability of success please wait until the suggested mail date to mail your defense documents to the court.

* More time is advantageous. As time elapses it can become difficult to recall specific details about the case.

We understand in some cases waiting is not an option or if you do not want to wait you can send your defense packet to the courthouse before the suggested mail date.
Bail Amount Information
A base fee amount is listed when the Courtesy Notice is not provided. The fine amount for the citation is set by the court and the Courtesy Notice will list the amount required for your citation.

If your Courtesy Notice from the courthouse reflects a different amount, please go with the amount listed on your notice. (If you have not received the notice from the courthouse with your fine amount you may submit the base fee amount provided.)

Trial Process in Progress Information

Once your defense packet is received by the courthouse, your trial process will start and the documents will be submitted to a Judge for review. A Judge will review your defense and the court will mail the verdict (Notice of Decision, TR-215) directly to you within 8-12 weeks. If you do not receive your verdict within that time frame, please contact the courthouse directly for a status update.

It is normal for the courts to take longer than anticipated to reach a verdict; the time frame for a verdict is dependent on the court docket.
